If you can turn away for a moment from the headlines, there's actually a lot of good going on in the world. So much opportunity to create change however that today's non profit, needs to stand out in order get the attention they need to attract volunteers, strategic partnerships and potential funders. Stigma - was created to illustrate the need of the people, the current situation on the ground so that you, or the rest of our intended audience can connect with the impact having epilepsy has in culture that associates such conditions with the super natural.
Empower - I created to bring attention to the sustainable model I believe, NGO's who work internationaly need to adopt. A model that RISE Global Health Initiative, a group of recent graduates from Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at UCSD have put into practice so that the effects of their work don't stop but continue to grow and bear fruit long after they leave.
